The Colorado Springs Christian Schools Lions Wrestling Team, led by coaches and longtime friends Dan Kurschner and Gabe Burak, welcomed Mike to a practice session. Sharing his testimony and love for Jesus, he encouraged the athletes to honor God in every part of life, on and off the mat, rooted in Ephesians 1:12:

Rahon & Smith Wedding

Mike had the honor of officiating the wedding of Kaitlin Rahon and Patrick Smith, a couple whose relationship reflects a deep commitment to Christ. Having coached and mentored Pat since his middle school wrestling days, this was especially meaningful.
Centered on Ephesians 5:21–33, the message highlighted the beauty and responsibility of a Christ-centered marriage—rooted in sacrificial love, mutual respect, and a shared devotion to God.

Mike shared a powerful story and introduced his college coach, mentor, and lifelong friend, Olympic Gold Medalist Ben Peterson, at an FCA event in Rockford. Supporting the morning’s message, he illustrated the difference between serving the Lord willingly and acting out of obligation. This message provided a meaningful reminder of the freedom and impact found in choosing to live and serve with a joyful, willing heart.

At the book launch and signing for his childhood wrestling coach, mentor, and friend Randy Hanson, the release of The Tao of Randy was celebrated—a collection of stories and wisdom gathered over a lifetime of teaching and coaching.
Sharing personal reflections, Mike highlighted the impact of their relationship, honoring Randy’s legacy, mentorship, and his enduring passion for investing in others.

Riverway Church Men’ Conference
October 25, 2025
After meeting Mike at Randy’s book launch, Peter Ockkuly invited him to speak at the Riverway Men’s Retreat in Champlin, Minnesota. This two-day gathering brought men together for a powerful time of fellowship, focusing on resurrection, purpose in God, and boldly following Jesus. It was an impactful weekend of faith, encouragement, and renewed commitment.

The Abide Conference
March 28, 2026
A full day conference dedicated to digging deeply into the Book of Malachi to explore God’s unwavering love in times of corruption and spiritual apathy. Mike focused on the first chapter, which explores God’s love for Israel and choice of Jacob over Esau. The final message of the conference was to focus on God’s love, walk in HIs ways and prepare for the “Day of the Lord”

Chaska High School Archery Team

Chaska High School Archery Team athletes were encouraged to sharpen their mental preparation and approach competition with focus and purpose. Practical insights highlighted how to perform under pressure while staying grounded in faith.
Centered on Philippians 4:13, the message emphasized that true strength and confidence come through Christ—empowering athletes to give their best in every moment. A focused time of encouragement, preparation, and faith-driven performance.

Centennial Breakfast Club
April 9, 2026
At the Centennial Breakfast Club—an interdenominational gathering for Centennial High School students centered on food, fellowship, and faith—students heard a message on true strength and where it comes from. Sharing his love for Jesus, Mike emphasized how strength is lived out daily through faith.
Rooted in Hebrews 12:2, the message pointed to Jesus as the ultimate example of strength and endurance, encouraging students to fix their eyes on Him in every challenge.
